i broke the same axle again. 7ish psi launch little bit of wheels spin and then my right tire went up in smoke. it didn't pop like the last time. but i got a 12.89 before that run. i was trying to get a better 60ft with more boost at launch. need less to say it didn't like it. this was with abs fuse pulled so there was no traction control active.

pull the abs fuse. it will kick on the abs light and the traction control light. neither will work with it out. its the one under the hood. 60amp IIRC
Mort, i will be doing the escalade 9.5" swap hopefully with income taxes. as long as i can find one that is.

did you switch to aftermarket axles after you broke last time? where are they breaking at? if its at the splines which most do. some manufacturers make a necked down diameter which runs the full length with the spline area being a larger diameter. this allows the spline area which is naturally weaker due to the root diameter ( bottom of spline to bottom of spline) being smaller on most but the necked down ones allow the axle to twist over a long section and dampen any shock before it would twist the splines off.

i'm going with a 9.5" done with the weak ****. for this reason i went with a stock axle when iy broke the first time. they are snapping of right before the spline. right where it goes into the locker.
