Thanks for the hard work and bitchen thread Vince, its nice to see the process you guys go through to build these transmissions.....And they come with a tail shaft and bell housing!

Thanks BC. As for the units coming complete IMO that is the only way to do it. I don't feel that a customer should have to finish building a new trans that they just bought!

Thats a BIG 10-4. It will be nice to get a trans and install it in the truck without having to worry about putting it together.

Keep up the good work FLT

Have you found any one to run the store??? Just wondering if you would at least be able to sale some of the things That DIY people dont have access to. Like your Beast shell with the modified bearing and race. Also I was looking at a rebuilt pump at my local Trans parts supplyer and well, Let's just say I think I might feel more comfortable cleaning and reusing a known good used one. Thats putting it nicely!!! I can almost Garrunty They would cross Leak as you put it...

BTW Thanks for showing the level of Quality you put into your personal product. With out things like that, I would have never Taken a closer look at things like a refurbished Pump or the reverse drum...

No we have been to busy to think about the store. Just one of those things. Send Chuck an email for what you are looking for. Maybe he can hook you up. Vince

What kind of fluid do I need for my 4L80E? I was told it's GM-specific. If so, what's the part # so I know I'm getting the right stuff...

*edit* .....and how many quarts do I need if I'm just dropping the pan, replacing the filter, and refilling?

DEX III or DEX IV is what I would recommend. As far as how much oil that would depend on how long the pan is off, along with the filter and also what pan is being used. If I had to guess on a factory pan, I would say anywhere between 4-6 quarts. Vince
