Default Excessive Negative Camber 4" Drop??

so i have converted my 4wd to 2wd and ditched the torsion bars. i replaced them with coilovers and 2" spindles...now, i have 3 degrees of negative camber with the coilovers adjusted as high as they will go, and the camber adjusters maxed out. anyone else have this problem maybe with drop coils? does anyone make a longer, or adjustable upper control arm for 99 up nbs trucks?

djm makes an upper control arm for the nbs trucks. with their 5" LCA, its mandatory to use their UCA in order to correct the negative camber. i recently installed some on my 02 with a 4" LCA to acheive perfect alignment. however, i do not know if the UCAs will fit your 4x4 frame. Send GMracer a PM. he converted his truck to 2wd as well and has been through many lowering components with his truck.

I have 1* of negative camber on both sides of my truck. I'm using 2" control arms 2" springs and it rides great but it sits like a 5" drop.

GMracer had this exact problem after he put bags on the front of his truck. He never ended up fixing the problem, but I think he was going to contact DJM and see if their UCA would help fix his problem. I don't think he did, so give them a call. If the DJM ones aren't long enough, looks like you might have to get custom ones made with the correct length.

You have any pictures of the truck and or install? I have been thinking of switching to coilovers but need to keep 4WD and don't know if the shafts will fit past the springs.

yea 4wd front ends are setup differently, the a-arms mounts and what not... so I could never get a true alignment the DJM arms are a little bit longer and may just do it for your application, if not custom or have a pro extend the DJM ones. since the factorys can not be lengthened.
