i was thinking of the same drop on my truck... single cab and same wheels. after researching it, i was going to do drop spindles in the front and hangers/shackles in the back..... along with new shocks of course. i kept reading that drop spindles would be superior to lower shocks or drop lca's because it will hardly mess with your front end geometry, if any. i personally was going to go with a DJM kit but i've heard good and bad things about companies.

I like my drop kit (in sig). I lost some turning radius with spindless on front, is pretty hard to make U turns on a two lane street, that's the downside of my kit. I've red that springs in the front won't affect your turning radius but you will end up with a stiffer ride and bumpsteer.

I had 2" drop LCAs and shackles and hangers on my last truck with edelbrock IAS shocks all the way around. It was great now i got 2" drop springs and shackles and hangers on my new truck and **** shocks and the ride sucks. If you want good ride quality spend some money it's well worth it. Remember most spindles take a 17" wheel to clear em so if you have a flat on the front your spare will not fit

no there is clearance issues with the spindles you just need to grind them down and you get the steering back.
my truck is a spring drop up front, if you want it to corner like its on rails its not a bad way to go. my truck takes turns way faster than my camaro ever did!

Looks like you took my advice and are passing it on to others. Good to hear the spindle rumor needed to die.

so springs would be the way to go if i didnt want to grind anything down for 17's ( or spend more money i dont have). are springs a lot stiffer or just slightly over stock? although if it handles like you mentioned, i wouldnt really care if it was a little rougher ride.
