The hanger is located at the front of the leaf spring... the shackle is at the rear. By using shackles, the nose of the pinion rotates down, but if drop hangers are used, it will rotate farther up.

I see the hanger i used went to the rear of the truck. If i used a flip kit and rear hanger with the stock shackle how would that effect my pinion angle. What should it be and how should i correct it and sorry to hijack

youll have to measure the angle and shim as needed.
