I would get the shackles, I got mine from oriely's and they are beltech 1-2" drop shackles. Then when you get your 2/4 you will just have to get 2" hangars for the back.

Yes, especially if you think its going to be a while before you drop it. They are cheap, under $50, and easy to install. Check ebay and the classifieds on several forums as you can usually pick up some used ones cheap. Just about any brand will be fine, DJM, Belltech, Western Chassis, Mcgaughy's, Ground Force, Eibach, etc

I would definitely get the shackles. Just like everyone else said...they are cheap, easy to install, and all you need is 2" hangers to complete the 4" rear drop (in case you eventually want to do that). 2" in the rear really makes a difference in the appearance of your truck.

I also want to level my truck out as well. I was told you could switch out the block that sits between the axel and leaf springs, would that work as well?

If I go with shackels will i still be able to carry or tow as much as i do now? ruffer ride?

You will need 2" shackles and 2* shims.
