Default Driveshaft questions

So I'm swapping from a 65 to an 80e. What driveshaft do I use? I'm sure there's a factory driveshaft that'll bolt right in. If I can't find one then I'll have to get one made. What is everyone else doing?

I used my stock driveshaft, Strange 1350 yolk for 80 and a bastard joint. The part numbers for the yolk and u-joint are in several of the 80 swap threads on here.

So the 80 being a different length than the 60 still allowed you you re-use your factory driveshaft? Nice!!

The body of the 80 is longer but the tailshaft is shorter so end to end there was only about a half inch difference between the two IIRC.

1 11/16", actually. Its rare you can reuse your stock shaft, most have one made.
