werd... I dinged my DS and cross member and gas tank when mine went... better safe than sorry. especially when you have that kind of rotating mass under your *** at that many RPM's....

That part alone is ~$80... been there, done that. I need to look into that. Luckily when my tailshaft housing broke & d-shaft bent (slightly), the yoke stayed in the trans. Was going 95mph when it happened. Lucky me, huh?

Problem is when the tailhousing breaks it quickly dumps all the fluid in the trans and will make quick work of the planetaries and gears with the heat of hauling *** down the road.

we had a guy that wanted to put this on his cobra a while back and it wouldnt fit so he left it with us sayin its no use to him, when i get my trans back in, ill be installing that

Not the prettiest but it'll work..great job....I need one after seeing my dad's ex suburban drop its driveshaft and kill a Corsa exhaust. I think it he would have notched it out then fully welded it to the crossmember...that would be very functional and a nice setup as well.

I can't decide if I want to use straight bar or round bar for my loop. I'll probably go straight bar since it looks better.

How wide are those loops? I have another one of those aluminum peices of **** on order and i know im gonna break another one.
