Default Driveshaft Loop (Pictures)

Called up my local exhaust shop, and asked if they could make a driveshaft loop for me. Had a piece of flat metal lying around and he got it shaped and what not.

Nothing PRETTY... But it should serve its purpose at least by protecting some of the stuff around it incase the shaft is ever to come off. It's very sturdy.

Maybe it'll give you guys some ideas for your trucks.

Yeah, it's not exactly pretty, but yes, it should serve it's purpose.

That little area of weld isnt going to hold if that driveshaft takes a dump.

Good! Then I'll get a new one that looks a little bit better and passes tech.

I would just hate to see it take out your tailhousing on teh trans, has tank, exhaust and dent the bottom of your bed.

You can see on this one how much overlap thay have on the pieces

You can see on this one how the tubes are welded fully all the way around

Im not trying to dog your setup Im just going by what I have seen at the track and how little it takes to break those size welds in other apps(my atv).
