Default Driveshaft hitting shift cable bracket

Didn't notice it when I installed the front driveshaft as the opening where the u joint was there. I went for a short drive around the street and could hear a noise but wasn't sure what it was, well now I know. I have a custom made dual cardin joint that just hits the bracket by a couple mm. I don't think I can bendthe bracket in to get the clearance, I will try that later today after work with a prybar. But if not then I would have to raise the transmission up to clear or what I was thinking was if there is a longer front yolk that I can swap out. It only needs to be about an inch that way the driveshaft joint will sit further back.

Well no luck in bending it out of the way. It looks like it needs to move back about 2". Anyone know if there is a yolk that's longer that will move the whole driveshaft back towards the Transfercase? If not then I'll ave to get a new driveshaft made.

I tried bending the bracket out of the way with a hammer but no luck. I don't think there will be enough clearance if it did move anyways as there ain't much room to move. I'm looking to replace this with something 2" longer.

I don't believe anything like that exists. You may need to have the shaft redone to make it all fit and work together.

Pics would help for other suggestions.

Well, post a pic. Somebody might have a good suggestion if they can see the problem.

For example, I don't know how or where it's rubbing on the bracket. But maybe you can remove the bracket and clearance it with a grinder?? But all anybody can do is make a wild *** guess(WAG, we call them) without seeing it.
