Question Driveshaft Exploded

Ok so yea im just cruisin along @ 95 n theres this major vibration n then BOOOOM ... Driveshaft blows apart!!! FTW!!!! So beings theres nothing but minor mods done wth did this crap?

My trucks only dropped 2/4 .. Any thoughts if that may be the culpret?? Ive never heard of this n no one i kno had any issues with that on 2/4 drop on their rides .. On side road waitin on tow home from mah brudda

Did you check your driveshaft angles with the drop? My angles were all f'ed up after my 2/4 drop (still are actually, need to fix them soon).

Can you tell where the driveshaft failed, in the middle, at a joint?

Had that happen last year, from the looks of mine the u joints had been going bad for a while . Never heard anything typical sounds associated with bad u joints.

Stock aluminum shafts are known to blow up at high speeds in the nnbs trucks.

I would look into getting one built if you like to spend time going higher speeds and are wanting to add power later.

Where in south la are you?

you can have it speed balanced, but I am switching to a 2 peice steel on my 08 when i get my stroker put in.
