.. stock shaft was one pc aluminum...if i get 2-pc steel i need hanger bracket installed since there is none on my 08...any one know if 1 pc steel that long is really a hazard?? or its just matter of weight on that span of 83 1/2" ??

Any sponsors here or recommendations from sponsors where to get hi-speed balanced aluminum one pc shaft replacement for my broke one? i've found Driveshaft Specialties of Texas in San Antonio. HD heat treated all in one replacement.

Older trucks used steel and were good for as far as you could push the truck. the trick is finding close enough shaft length.
Did you drag race the truck or do burnouts often?
I just replaced my OEM aluminum shaft with OEM steel. 99-06 rclb used aluminum rcsb used steel and is about half the diameter.
