Default Drag tires??????

Hey I have a 04 Silverado with a 4/6 drop. I would like to get some drag tires for my factroy 16 inch rims or I do have a set of 18in (5.0 backspace) centerlines I dont use anymore. Does anyone know what size would fit my drop for any of the two wheels? Also what brand would you recommend? Thanks

they make et streets and drag tires for 16 inch rims it depends on what size you want and can fit, you can get a 26, 27, or 28 inch tire for height and it also depends on your mods, i have to have a 28 inch because of 4.10s and stall to hook up,both hoosier and mickey thompsons are good slicks imo

410 gear because like me the 16" is the only rim u can put on your truck I have a 16" mt et and they are ok at times but I think I would be better to go with a 18" because more and more slicks are being made in that size.

Yes, but you'll have less sidewall flex, which is a contributor to traction. And you can run a 15" rim on your truck; just takes a little bit of grinding. I run 28x10.50x15 MT slicks at the track...
