Default drag radial or e/t's??

I currently have some 26" M/T e/t's, and really want to get some 28" e/t's.. but right now I am getting a great deal on some 28" M/Tdrag radials,

I know the drag radials or better for street use, but I will only be using them at the track.....

but my question is, what will hook better the drag radials or the e/t's??

so tell me what have ya'll experienced to work the best...

AP, I have no experience with the DR's, but I would just imagine that the ET Streets would hook better. I could be wrong though.

i'd say the et's but i have never used the regular drag radial. i know bigkid has had both. you might try pm'ing him.

but to me it would depend on the deal you are getting for them. if your talking a 100 bucks savings then jump on that set and use'em.

my buddy used to have DR's on his 12 sec camaro and that thing would launch with no spinning, he would launch on all those AWD ricers that thought they would get the jump

the benefit of the DRs is you can use them when you go street racing

The Drag Radials use a softer compound and I think they hook better. They are also much more stable on the big end.

DRs offer less surface area to hook off the line as they have more/larger grooves cut into them

They are the same compound used in their Drag Slicks. They hook my buddies Malibu that yanks 1.5X 60' times on about 14 psi I think.
