Default Dont u just love it when this happens!!!

So Drivin to work this mornin doin 70 on the highway and all the sudden it was like i threw the bitch in neutral......NO GEAR WORKS, NONE! No loud noises, no pop, no grinding, nothin, just decided to go on its own little vacation from working.Checked the fluid and smelled and looked fine but noticed when running it was high on the stick like maybe the pump gear or sumthin was out. No clue yet what it may be but already started pullin the tranny to send to a friend and the converter back to the shop where i bought it. I will keep u guys updated so that we may learn somethin from this.

I would think it would smell if you fried a clutch. Something had to have just "let go". I would hope its something easy

Bet your pump is the issue. The 13-vane "ring" inside the pump has failed on me once. Talked to a friend of mine who has a friend with the same symptom.

Crack the pump open & see. May as well go through the entire trans to make sure no trash or residual debris made it's way thru. Check the clutches while you're in there. No sense in not replacing those with new ones since the trans is apart.
