Does GM make different leaf springs?

i'm actually not a Z71, just 4x4. but the difference between 4x4 and z71 is skid plates and "off-road" shocks.

maybe GMracer's springs are just worn out (since they are 5 years older) and just sag more. i just found it pretty interesting that he is lower than me.

Can this be confirmed?
My truck used to be a Base V6 and I think that is why its so bouncy and squats a lot from the rear. I want to know if they are perhaps softer cause they are V6. I have friends with trucks that dont squat as much or bounce around as much. Any help is appreciated.
