Glad to hear that it's holding up. I really might consider this if I end up keeping what I have. Got any suggestions about getting a little more lift out of the front end to clear 33's ?
If you use the same part #'s I posted you can get 3"s of lift without cranking on the springs. Mine clears 33's right now and I just have her leveled..

I'm doing this to my 1500 2wd in October but since it's not the HD I'll be doing it a bit differently. Looks good and updates sound very promising, might have to do this to my Van!!

Getting rid of those Torsion Bars is the only thing that matters. Truck handles better now too.

This is an ideal situation for the lowered 4x4 guys. Has anybody come up with a spring to work with a qa1 shock? Ive been looking around since I stumbled upon this thread but I find more to go up. Julien have you found anything yet to share? I remember seeing your silverado in Truckin' Mag, can we say what a beast haha.

QA1 have short springs to work with their shocks. I believe you can get a 7" spring for a lowered truck. I had the part numbers all looked up and ready to go about a year ago but havent bit the bullet yet.

Nothing yet to report, I have all the parts, just haven't gotten around to doing it. I'm using fox shocks though. After using them on the rear I wouldn't use anything else I'm so in love with them.
