Default Which direction to go with my 08 CCSB

Well I picked up a 08 4x4 CCSB Sierra in March to replace my 03 Yukon xl that got totaled in November. Going from a full bolt on truck to a stock truck is pretty lame... The Sierra is showing signs of DOD lifter failure in the near future so I'm beginning to plan what I want to do with the truck. If I have to pull the heads I'm going to change the cam when I delete the afm. That being said I'm stuck on a decent n/a setup or aiming for a long term boost build. The truck is a DD and may tow 1-2times a year up to 10k. One of my main things I've been debating on is transmission choice. I really wanted a 6l80e truck but I couldn't pass the deal I got this one for even though it's a 60e truck. My options I've been debating are 6l80e swap 4l80e swap or I have a performabuilt lvl2 60e and a circle d converter left over from my totaled Yukon with around 3000miles on them. I could sell the built trans and converter and probably swap in a stock 6l80 or 4l80 but then again I already have this but unsure on how it will do long term in a 5500lb truck with up to 500whp. I'm know I'm rambling but been having a hard time loving this truck since I got it and decided the only way I will is to start modding it to my liking however I want it reliable and tame enough where I could hop in and drive whenever and where my wife could still drive it to work if needed in bad weather.
