Default Differences in 8.25 ifs in nbs and nnbs

i have a 2004 nbs tahoe with 4wd that needs the carrier bearings replaced (probably the ring and pinion too). i found a nnbs front differential assembly case and all for $500 with 24 miles on it. I need to know if i can just pull my front diff assembly out and replace it with a nnbs.

i want the least amount of downtime and dont feel like opening up the diff case and rebuilding it.

thanks
