Default detroit locker or detroit true track

what kinda power are guys putting through their true tracks these days? would a locker be reccomended above the 1000hp range?

With that kind of power, you need to quit asking that question all together and start asking what kind of rear axle housing one would need, as you can scratch a line through the 10-bolt.

housing is an m9 fab housing with backbrace. sorry shoulda put in first post. theres no way i would think a 10bolt could take that. truck is a 69 swb c10, came with 12bolt, but even that wont handle the abuse. the reason i ask this is the locker is noisy, tru trac is more streetable, but will the tru trac hold the power?
