You could find one 12v iginition source and use it for both the gauges 12+ and the gauges light supply wire.

yea i know i could use both. alright so i rewired everything and the pod still works. i took off the wire to the light cuz right now im just using a always on 12v source and i dont want to run the battery down by having the light connected. temp hovers about 140 before trans cooler so i dunno if thats good or not. there is abot 7qt in the system with cooler and remote filter added. where would i find the 12v ignition wire though? what color? cuz right now its just connected to a little red box thats right off the battery

You can find one with a test light, pop out the little light switch panel to the left of the steering wheel and probe some of the wires back there. I used one of these wires when I put Onebadrubi's nitrous kit in, I just don't remember which one. (I think it may have been pink)

Those are not 3 random circuits - they are exactly as labeled and should be in yours as well.

i looked and mu fuse/circuit box is entirely different than what was pictured. i think il just leave the pod hard wired in so a plain-jane 12v source. hopefully it has about as much draw as my radar detector so there is no chance in hell it will drain the battery in less than a month of inactivity. i too heard that the ignition wire was pink but i talked with someone else about this too and we agree that im not comfortable just picking some pink wire out of a jumble of many many wires hopeingi dont splice into something wrong.

all that matters is it works and now i have to buy some loom to clean it up and take a couple pictures

According to my wiring scematic in my haynes manual, pink is 12v switched power and orange is 12 constant power.

so every single pink wire is ignitoin 12v?? right now im just tapped into a red continuous like said above, hard to believe that every single pink is ignition but whatever works....my truck hasnt been started inabout 36 hours though so if the battery si stil alive with the pod being on continuous 12v im not going to worry about it cuz its hardly ever not driven for 24+ hours...
