On what size tire? My tires are about 32" tall. There's no way I'd drop 5 mpg. He'll in my last truck running 33's I gained mileage going to 4.10's

The biggest difference in MPG's I've seen was when I put a TCI stall in. It took me from the 17mpg I have always gotten down to 14-15.
Put the Circle D stall in and I"m back to 17again.
Gears never hurt my mpgs to a point I noticed.

Exactly, I gained some mileage on the city going from 3.42 to 4.11 & stock tires. Lost a bit in the highway but it ended being even when you consider mixed conditions. It's a no brainer IMO, same mileage with performance gains that you can truly feel.

In fact I wish I went with 4.30

I'd go with AAM 4.10's from Ron's Machine on ebay...
