Yes. I have always tracked my mpg. One time i swapped out the converter for a stock converter and the mpg got better by 1-2mpg. That is my experience.

Also IMO the thing with converters is you need to retune for them. Each converter will act differently behind different setups. You will hit different spots on your main spark tables and ve tables. Those need to be addressed maybe some people overlook that portion.

Like i said this is my experience believe it or not.

Circle d 3600 triple dusc billet, drives normal to me; probably not to others.

Towed a few light loads and not that bad.

Honestly, you get used to them pretty quick unless your doing big n/a stall that is 4500 something.

I have a circle d 3200 and wasnt to happy with it in light throttle situations (wasnt locking and just fluttered up and down a couple hundred rpm - annoying) untill I got it all tuned up. Its night and day now. Now it locks just right and with just a "gentle" push of the pedal reminds you why you put it in there in the first place I also noticed before the tune that the stall kept me in V4 mode longer but AFM is gone for good now (dont play well with LTs) .

Good post, sometimes the 278mm will have some storage lock up issues. But a tune will get that corrected and make it drive much better.

Glad you like it.

I agree a tune made a night and day difference with launching it and cruising.

What did you have adjusted on your tune? I have a 10.5 triple disc converter from precision industries that has been shuddering while going into lockup. Had the pwm adjusted and tcc pressure increased but didn't help much.

Try setting the min lock up to 90 and max to 100. Maybe back off the throttle position and speed as well so its not locking under a lot of stress.

A shudder means its slipping somewhere. Either the TCC or the trans itself. Ask me how I know...
