Default CTS-V brakes on silverado

Hey i was wondering if anyone knew if the cts-v brake calipers would fit on a 2004 chevy silverado? I seen it in the gm high tech performance article on a camaro but wondering if they would fit on the truck. I know they might need a spacer for wheel clearance but mounting wise i was wondering. if anyone has some insight that would be great.

yea it seems like the Z06 and CTs-V calipers would need the same adapter bracket but the calipers are made by a different manufacture like brembo or other brake company. Just curious some bigger brakes would make it a lot easier to stop these trucks.

wait, so gmhp mag had something on camaro brakes on NBS??? 5th gen camaro?
Happento have more info on it?

I had a thread on here I think, maybe another forum too, about wanting to try 5th gen camaro SS brakes on my NBS and wondering what may have been needed...
I had a line on a cheap set of takeoff SS calipers, but never bit the bullet and tried....

SO the calipers are just that big? Could the bracket be made different to pull the caliper farther from the wheel and closer towards the center. I guess i pretty much need a caliper so i can look at dimensions and stuff.
