alright its seeming that people are thinking im taking a shot at FLT, which couldnt be farther from the truth. i guess i just should have come out and asked if anyone has ever opened up a FLT tranny and what were their findings. guess i was beating around the bush not trying to mention names and it blew up im my face. i did a lot of research on FLT and a few other trans co. before i decided to buy this tranny. my findings were that FLT was a premire trans co. and i felt confident buying one of their units used. by posting this thread i was hoping to get a few replies from FLT owners who would verify that the parts listed were actually in the trannys. of course my first instinct is that the seller plain and simple ripped me off. for all i know the seller took a busted tranny and put FLT markings on it.

A wear item for you. To normal people, it's a driveline part.

trever1t, Spoolin's sayin, I think, connection to Zzebes is he scammed even tho he was a frequent on PT.

If I personally took anyone's built tranny apart & found it not to be a true BUILT unit, ok.

But on the way back from a trip, I dropped into FLT 20 min away, unannounced. He puts on a very, very convincing show then. He spent an hour showin me what they improve & teaching me. For that, I commend Vince.
While I've only built a 350THM or 2, I could if needbe, do a 60E. However, Vince & Co. know tips, tricks, & machining that I could only hope to. I'm no trans genius, but I know just enuff to be dangerous.
Vince is extremely helpful on here & I can't say enuff how he made me feel before I spent a dollar. His knowledge & product(s) seem strong. That's how I feel, & that's why I went w/. FLT.

Internet is a mighty sword, so good or bad, careful how the sword is wielded.
Internet is full of knowledge, opinion, & B.S. As readers, we have to discern between the 3. It has some great people like Billy, Ben (silver-mod-o) & the list goes on. Even funny guy Spoolin.

There's a lot of variables here...too many chefs have had their hands in this broth to point the fingers at anyone. Sorry about your misfortune bulldog Personally, I'm still confident with and still trust FLT, and will continue to send them money towards my Level7 until it's done
