Is there anyway, other than removing it, I can tell if I already have the Corvette Servo installed on my truck?

Bought my truck used and the previous owner did some basic mods, intake, exhaust, TBS, and a few other things, so it's possible he could've added the Servo.
The other reason I wonder too, is because my truck's shift from 1 to 2 is pretty firm, much firmer than my friends 04 GMC.

It's not that much to buy one, but I'd hate to replace it if it's already there...

 

find out who the previous owner was and ask.

 

You could pull off the heatshield and use a mirror to see if there are any tool marks where the guy would have popped out the retaining ring.
