I got the Fairbanks Super Servo and love it. Supposed to be better than the vette servo.

i have a super servo and a shift kit in and it barks into 2nd. normal driving around it shift to had. i didn't even drill out the 1-2 shift hole when i put the shift in. i will be putting in a vet servo in the near future.

it should help out by it self but i would recomend a shift with it.

That is what you are looking for. I got mine from him a couple years ago. Great seller.

Great, just ordered it....how much you think it would cost to have a shift kit put in, and the servo? Just for labor, ill buy the shift kit onlilne.

I couldn't tell ya. I have always done my own work. Its not hard to install for a beginner IMHO. Just follow the written instructions to the letter and you will be fine. The main thing is making sure the right length bolt goes back into the proper spot. Transgo instructions will tell you were all the bolts go back. The kit is pretty complete. Just need some Vaseline or Trans-Goo to hold the check ***** in place while reassembling. Good luck to you on either choice you make.
P.S. For the love of all things great do not install all 3 washers in the 1-2 accumulator.

Im good with mechanical things. I normally do all my own work also, but have never done any tranny work. Looks like I might be trying it soon.
