convertor lockup issues? bad convertor? too much pressure somewhere in trans? no idea
#1
Alright, so now that somethings knocked out my thrust bearings and basically destroyed my engine(which i have a new donor and plenty of fun parts for
) i'm going to be replacing it soon. But i do want to find the culpret since this isn't a normal failure from what ive been reading. The trans is an flt lvl 6 4l60e, new larger trans cooler(pulled the old one to make sure there werent any restrictions and upraded right away). The lines are fine, no crimps or anything unusual. While the engine started going out, i noticed lockup on deceleration seemed to be jerking the truck around quite violently. The truck does have a 3k yank stall. Any ideas as for testing i can look at? I dont want to destroy my soon to be mildly built lq9
