For the most part that’s true, but as always there were still some odd ducks in the bunch, as the ’01 / ’02 Sierra C³ and Sierra Denali’s were DBW with the old style throttle body that had a separate TPS like a cable operated unit would, yet they were not equipped with traction control.

There are just so many combinations of parts thrown together by the factory that it's pretty hard to nail down all of them, just what is typical to the breed.
