Default Converter temp getting high

i just got my truck back with the 4L80e and a 3000 stall put in it. I did the stall twice in a row, how hot should it be? I called the place that installed it and they said that the converter heats up alot. It reached ~235 and then i parked it and let it cool down. Still runs fine but i got worried.

....boy does it shift hard! < thats my 3 gear scratch! haha

Got a tranny cooler on it? Or look into a deep aluminum tranny pan, both will help with the heating issues, Im not too sure on how hot is too hot, but with transmissions better safe than sorry.

150-180 is pretty ideal, 210 is ok but not great, I think you will run into problems with it at 235. Definitely time for an aftermarket cooler.
