Bout 2 hours into it. Taking a break. I've gotten the exhaust crossover, cats and crossmember out.
Looking at that huge transfer case the whole time. It's next. I don't know who is more worried, it or me.

Transfer case remvoed.
A controlled drop I should say. The bruise on my shoulder shouldn't be too bad
This better be worth it.
Can anybody tell me exactly what oil is in the transfer case. Its green and I'm gonna need some.

Well the trans is out and ground level resting on the jack. Stock TC still attached. I am done for the day. Some notes for the record should anybody do this.
My Torque converter bolts were combination hex and allen head. 15mm socket and came right off no sweat. I was worried about this, many posts about screwing up the allen head styles.
Should split the transfer case from the transmission rearward of the crossmember mount. I didn't and couldn't get it dropped.
2 -24" extensions and good impact style swivel made getting the top transmission bolts out a breeze
Read that tip here somewhere I believe.
Damn those long **** aluminum driveshafts are light!
After several minutes of trying to seperate the trans from engine by brute force. Shaking, beating prying.... wound up hooking chain to the end of trans and a come along to a cross member somewhere rearward.
Still took combination of tension and shaking, beating and prying to coax it away from its home.
I'm tired, time for some fireworks and
