Stripping the threads or the bolt head?
The torque spec is only 60 lb/ft with threadlocker for GEn 1,1E and 2 or 44 lb/ft for the GEN 3 engines.

The head uninstalling the original ones. I'm sure you have done a swap so you know it's a little awkward under there. If you use a 6 point socket it's no big deal, but people have stripped them using a 12 point or using shitty sockets or even using hex key allen wrenches. If you search on here it's happened plenty.

Yup, esp tight on the 1997 1/2+ and up bolt on bellhousing 60e's. they have that little round hole to wrench in.
My truck originally had the older 1 piece case with the sheetmetal TC cover, it was easier to wrench in there.

Tight wrenches can make all the difference.

As well as ratcheting wrenches...I'd be damned if I could get a torque wrench in there...
