Trying to figure out if I can still tow my 20 foot diamond plate trailer with a car on it with a 10" converter stalled to 3000.

Any experience with that? Seems it would accelerate faster of course.

 

coming from someone who tows alot of weight at times, My daily is modded and I prefer the stock converter...

 

I would like to rest all the stock converter but not sure how well that will do. Waned to be able to get in the power when not towing and also when towing.

 

Have chris at circle d play with your stocker.

Rather than start a new thread I'll jump on this. Just picked up a 278mm Circle-D (amazingly fast shipping).

I'm assuming this is going to require ECM/ TCM tuning. Do I need something before or can I drive it until I get it tuned?

 

Should be able to drive it if it is not extremely loose.

 

Probably will not need a tune unless you want to tweak to your preferences. If it locks up good and shifts at WOT then you should be good to go.

Glad you got it, we are finally getting some stock of the 278.
