converter bolts - lock tite?

flex plate to converter ? . . . . yes / no???

I used blue lock-tight, this is the second time around and didnt have problems.

Ive unbolted my TC about 7 times so far... and Never had a loose bolt... so just tighten them down and you wont have to worry bout it..

I have used it last couple times. Didn't first couple times. No issues either way but the furthest I have ever run the truck between TC pulls is about 10K miles.

I used it... peace of mind I guess with that expensive *** trans and converter under there..

put some *** in it when you tighten it.

Agree. I used it,...and "put some *** in it" as well. After I pulled the tranny last time and found one bolt "less than tight", I had no problem adding some Loc-tite this time around.


Now, if GM designed the tranny so that you can get a good sized wrench in there then I may not have but I wanted the extra insurance.
