which converter?

Default which converter?

i just purchased a 226/230 .585/.592 on a 110 lsa thats going in a 5.3 just curious how much converter i really need i currently have a circle d 3200 with a 4.11 gear. any input would be appreciated.

Ive got a circle d 3200 behind a fully bolted 5.3 224/228 581/588 114 an it dose an awesome job

the BEST input you could get IMO is to install the cam and see how it runs with the 3200 you have now. If it feels a lil sluggish down low and then opens up you need to bump up accordingly based on when it opens up.

It should be okay with the 3200. But if you're looking for track times, you'll most likely want a 3600 or looser.

From what I've seen, all the fastest 5.3's are running 3800 and higher converters(fastest n/a 5.3 has a 4600).

i forgot to mention i have a 175 shot of nitrous on it also.

Call Chris at Circle D, I would say for max performance, youd need a 4c or 5c in the 3600 to 4000 range....converter choice is probably going to depend on how much you run with nitrous vs. without.
