Yea, I told him that's way too low. Full-size trucks that aren't prerunners are typically in the 800-1200lb range depending on the shock and the use.

Gatcha. You think 1000lb would be a good starting point?

Yeah the 450 is low, I went off of QA1s site when I first ordered the parts. I will be ordering stiffer springs once I get an idea of where I'm at with these.

So for the guys that dont want to run the Tbar setup I plan to have these ready in a few weeks. Also has an attachment on the bottom for limiting straps if you want to use them. These would allow direct bolt in using this and my top brackets for an off the shelf heim style coilover shock.

So these and your upper mounts will work correctly w/ the DS501 coilover shocks using the solid bearing eyelets correct? The only thing Im not sure on is what spring to use?

Yep, they should, you will need to upgrade the bearings to steel, or go with viking shocks. I dont have any ready yet so I cant say for sure on the shock as that will depend on what ride height you want. The spring depends on what shock but I can help you pick out what you need no problem. In general between 700 and 1200lbs for fullsize trucks, but you can tune the ride how you want it with the spring.

Should be the same thread as the factory one (M10) so you can reuse the stock nut.

I actually have some ready now, the stainless bolts are TIG'd and the rest is MIG'd.

I am working on the lower mount to make some clearance for the CV shaft and add an anchor point for straps if you want to use them. Heres what the whole thing would look like. The shock and spring is a 5 minute attempt guessing on measurements so its not exact but gives a good idea.
