Default Changing seals in front differential (NBS 1500)

Im working on cleaning up the frame and such on my Reg cab and i need to replace the seals on the front diff as they are leaking. What is the process to doing so? I will most likely be dropping the diff out of the truck to paint it so that is no problem. I'm just worried about having to reset the gears, which i do not have the tools to do at this time. I guess i don't know exactly how it works. Would i be better off just taking it to someone to throw new seals in and save myself the hassle?

axle seals..Drivers side is the worst. I know i can basically beat on that axle and it will pop out of the c clip and i can change that seal, but if i want to do the other side i will have to pull the diff apart. I need to check it again and see if the pass side is leaking or not, that would save me some time if i didnt have to replace it

On the passenger side, you dont have to disassemble the "diff". Just unbolt the housing extension and go from there. You kinda have to wiggle and wrestle it to get it to come on out, but it's possible.
