Default Carbed L's swap Trans Control

I am planning on putting 6.0 lq4 motor into my 1994 c1500 that has a 350. If I re use the stock transmission is there a way to use the TBI computer to control the trans since the motor will not be fuel injected? Will I have to get a stand alone controller? Would I be better off swapping in a manual?
