Can you rebuild a Truetrac???

Default Can you rebuild a Truetrac???

I broke some teeth off the gears in the truetrac and was wondering if you can rebuild it?

Sure you didnt break teeth off the ring gear, the gear that is bolted to the TT differential!
The teeth off the ring gear should break off before that True Trac breaks!

The reason i ask is because missing ring gear teeth is a problem in which has hapened to several people on here.

NO broken ring gear, the teeth are broke in the truetrac.

i think you're the first guy i've heard of that's broken a True Trac. i just had mine installed this past week and it's sweeeeet.

anyways, i'd call up Eaton (who now owns Detroit) and ask them if it can be rebuilt. www.eatonperformance.com

That is my plan for tomorrow. It has been good to my until yesterday and if something can be broke it always seems I am the one that can do it.

Well you cannot buy replacement parts for a truetrac. You are **** out of luck if you brake one.
