Can my tranny take a cam and 3000 stall?
#1
I'm planning on getting a mild cam and 3000 stall and was wondering if my 4l60e could take it. My goal is high to low 13s, and I also plan on a shift kit and vette servos along with a few other hardened internals. I would just be safe and get a build tranny, but I don't want to have to spend an extra $2-$3K for one. What do you guys think, what cam would get me in the high to low 13s?

stick with a 220 cam or go custom, search around.

I would have it built or buy an already built tranny.... you'll still more than likely have problems out of it down the road if you just try to HD2 and servo it... you need performance frictions and hard parts...
