Default Can my tranny take a cam and 3000 stall?

I'm planning on getting a mild cam and 3000 stall and was wondering if my 4l60e could take it. My goal is high to low 13s, and I also plan on a shift kit and vette servos along with a few other hardened internals. I would just be safe and get a build tranny, but I don't want to have to spend an extra $2-$3K for one. What do you guys think, what cam would get me in the high to low 13s?

Cam and stall with the mods you state and a trans cooler should work. Unless you're really abusive you should be fine!

I can see high 13's with those mods. Low 13?? you would need more mods. I would build the tranny 1st, get a converter and get the rest of boltons and leave the cam for last.

tranny depends on your foot, i've ran multiple 13' sec passes with my 5.3, now with my 6.0 i have several 12 second passes, all stock only line pressure adjustments with hptuners.
stick with a 220 cam or go custom, search around.

I would have it built or buy an already built tranny.... you'll still more than likely have problems out of it down the road if you just try to HD2 and servo it... you need performance frictions and hard parts...

I was able to get a few 13 second passes on a completely stock tranny and torque converter, and stock tires. It all depends how deep into the 13's or 12's is what you will need.
