Default Caltracs with no middle leaf ???

I did search, but no luck. I finally lowered the rear by putting the overload back in and taking the middle leaf out. It FINALLY sits level. But the long bar angles are messed up now AND I got some caltracs for a deal yesterday! Anybody run these on a non flip application with a middlw spring out and the overload still in?

THANKS

I haven't personally but I don't know why it would hurt anything. You might be figuring out a new combo for us LOL.... Calvert runs a split monoleaf that's pretty forgiving so I don't see a problem with what you're talking about. I say go for it and see what happens

Awesome, I got these used so I just need some plates for a non flip and some bushings for the front of the leafs.

Thanks for the quick replies!

Why can't you use the rear mounts you made and used with the long bars? Different size heim joints?

Just curious, how much drop does removing the middle leaf give?

I had two inch shackles and the overload removed. was not low enough so I removed the middle leaf and put the overload back in. It was so low I had to put the stock shackles back in. Still lower than it used to be like I wanted. I would conclude removing the middle leaf lowers more than 2" shackles AND removing the overload, BUT my truck is strange because it should have sat level with shackle and overload removed.

On the plate, just want it all from caltrac where I wont wonder later if thats the problem or if I just need more adjustments.
