Default Caltracs.....

Are they still the best way to go as for stock like suspension or is there something new out? Also will they work if my truck is dropped 4" with shackles and hangers? Heard they have to be modified.

if you have the beltech hangers you'll have to modify them. i made my own, that's what i had to end up doing.

I'm not sure if it's belltech or DJM. You made your own traction bars?

The design isn't that complicated or patented.

If you can weld you can make them.

The Caltracs will not interfere with my McGaughy's hangers or shackles.
I too have a 4" lowering kit for the rear.
Supposedly you would have to send the Belltech hangers to them to be modified, or they said a clear picture of the hangers would do as well.
