Your right about what they will drop a truck when used together.
But the hangers are specified as either 3" or a 4" lowering hangers.
I guess it is just automatic that you will be using shackles with the hangers.

i have the 2" shackel in the back and stock hangers.
they asked me when i ordered them if i needed the parts for a lowered truck. i think they just swap out the parts for no charge if you need the ones for a lower truck. from what i can tell it is the same set up but the front triangle is just missing the bottom hole and made higher without it.

not trying to hi-jack the thread, but, does anyone have the Cal-Tracs installed on an Ext. Cab with Hotchkis rear springs?
I have this set-up and haven't installed the Cal-Tracs yet...I have read other threads posting possible issues, but no final word from anyone...
I am ready to have them installed very soon...
