I wrote to Calvert Racing yesterday in regards to this and the following is an excerpt of the reply I received this morning:
sooooo...I guess the question to someone that has experienced the before and after would be, "Did the bushings help?"
In regards to the poly bushings, we still only offer the aluminum bushings for the spring eyes. While the poly might seem better for the ride/noise factor, we have found that this area is not prone to drastically effect ride or noise. We would rather see our customers maintain the aluminum bushing for performance and durability. Most noise will come from the roll pin contacting the spring area which is minimal. This can be addressed by insulating the upper roll pin with 3/4" heater hose if it became unbearable.
Thank You!

These bushings have no part # as they aren't available individually from ES. You'd have to buy a complete leaf kit. You can't buy direct from ES so you'd have to buy through a distributor if you wanted the complete kit. I do however have a couple individual ES bushings left over for $45 shipped.
In regards to ride quality, yes the polyurethane will offer a better ride. For a street/strip application I recommened the polyurethane over the aluminum bushing. It will allow the rear to articulate over bumps without stressing the spring or hanger as bad. It will also absorb some of the shock that otherwise would be transmitted through the chassis.
I've run these polyurethane bushings for around a year now with no issues. The truck rides amazing out back, no harshness, no squeaks, and still 60's great at the track. Either aluminum or urethane will work, I just happen to like the performance a urethane bushing offers on a street/strip application.

No problem Superado.
Moregrip, I ground off the side lips. They grind away like butter. You'd think it's straight out of the mold except for the slight discoloration where the lip was removed. I'm pretty good with a grinder coming from metal fabricating.
