Default caltrac or 4-links

which of the two is better,or is there something else out even better.i know caltracs r easier to put on, and r stright on bolt on,and 4-link uyou have to weld n what knot, which is best,or what is everyone running?

Of course a 4link is better. You have unlimited adjustability with a 4link. But its a big undertaking, whereas caltracs are just a bolt on traction device. Granted they work very well for leafspring vehicles though.

If money was not a problem, I would do the 4 link. I will however be purchasing Caltracs.

Ya if ur on a budget the cal-tracs is the way to go for sure..

me on the other hand my rig never runs anyways so im trying to creat a set of longbars to see how they work out.. front of the bar is gonna be by the trans, sounds like a good idea but we shall see.

Nothing wrong with caltracs, my 2,500hp drag radial Camaro is on caltracs I'm expecting to pull 1.2 60ft times with it

4 links are cool because of the adjustably but you relly have to know what your doing to set them up right, same goes for the caltracs or any race suspension. You have corner balancing, alignment, set the instant center and pinion angle, spring rates, compression & rebound damping, tire psi, Exc

Fastest leafspring car right now on 275's
