Default busted shocks go squeaky squeaky

I need new shocks front and back, both on the driver's side make a funny squeak. I would like to know what are the best riding and performing shocks for my 2003 silverado the back is lowered but the front is stock (again). any help is greatly appreciated.

I hear tons of good things about the Doetsch shocks I would recommend them. It was either here or on another Forum that the edlebrocks had some problems with them

Doetsch techs are awesome, I actually have those on the front end of my truck. But I think Doetsch techs are better for more extreme drops like 2/4, 4/6, or 5/7. Being that only your rearend is dropped to level it out I would suggest the Edelbrocks. My neighbor has Edelbrock IAS's on his 2/4'd '00 Silvy and it rides and handles awesome. I would run Edelbrocks if my truck wasnt bagged.

True that! the doetsch shocks are great for lower trucks with the 3/4,4/6,5/7
drops. I mean everybody recommends those for the slammed drop.

What kind of drop is the rear?
If its 2"in any good quality shock will ride fine!

I wish Edelbrock would make sumthin in a shorter application for slammed trucks I think they could sell a whole hell of alot more of them. But again I think for a top of the line shock for basically stock hieght truck the Edelbrocks would be best. They ride very smoothly over bumps large and small. And then the shocks stiffen up in the handling side to reduce body roll. Very Nice product!! I am not aware of any problems with them?? I am sure they are out there though.

The fellas over at Fullsizechevy.com suggested they are good shocks but they start leaking and that's the problem they are trying to fix. Also Edlebrock wont replace them. Its 50/50 chance on them some are defective!
A couple of members reported that problem to me, because I also was looking at some shocks for my future 4/6 drop
