when my 60 e went out (both friggin times), it made that sound (but the sound only happened the one time) and had similar symptoms. in my case, it was the front and rear planets....and i am guessing the sound was the planet actually giving out

 

from what i heard lukes transmission would rattle the dash on soft accel with the line pressure stock.

 

That will kill them everytime....

 

Yup it would kick you in the *** pretty bad

no new news we got it home the other day and i got to bed around 5:30AM

more updates once i tear into it

 

Id be willing to bet that you find a few broken parts...

 

With stock line pressure that thing would shift.LOL

At least it lasted a year 1/2

 

Pump works fine... got tranny fluid all over my face lol

Don't know about the input shaft yet

It was only a year/12,000 mile warrenty and its a year and a half old

I called Yank though and if it happens to be the converter that failed then they will fix it under warrenty... but if it isnt then i have to pay 175 refresh and cleaning.
