when my 60 e went out (both friggin times), it made that sound (but the sound only happened the one time) and had similar symptoms. in my case, it was the front and rear planets....and i am guessing the sound was the planet actually giving out

from what i heard lukes transmission would rattle the dash on soft accel with the line pressure stock.

Yup it would kick you in the *** pretty bad

Thanks for the help guys... im going to try and tear into it today a little... cant really do anything with work during the week.

Trying to get fixed before TX showdown!! Doubt it though

At least it lasted a year 1/2

It was only a year/12,000 mile warrenty and its a year and a half old

I called Yank though and if it happens to be the converter that failed then they will fix it under warrenty... but if it isnt then i have to pay 175 refresh and cleaning.
