Do you still have your stock rims/tires you could put on. you weigh more, and have heavier wheels which doesnt help with burnouts
Wheels don't make that much of a difference, not when you've got 4.10s and a 3.06:1 first gear ratio.

FWIW my 95 blows both tires off with ease just from a standing throttle stab, no brake or anything and thats through a 4L80E, the stock 1400 rpm stalling diesel converter, 3.73s and 32 x 11.50s, and it was dipping as low as 10.5:1 in PE at that. I'd say the guy has got something wrong somewhere.

It should be blowing the tires off the thing. How hard are you holding the brake. I would be thankful it hooks.

Either the torque management didn't get turned off, you've got a lean condition, a rich condition, or just a pathetic spark advance table. Even with torque management it still ought to be able to at least get a little wheel spin going with that many mods and the gearing.

you might just be pressing the brake too hard. in my truck if i push the brake too hard it doesnt want to spin until i ease off the brake a little.

and 20s make a HUGE difference over stock wheels. with my 20s it will spin a little if i punch it from a stop but with my 16s i can smoke the tires from 30 mph

OldRed, why dont you say what you said on the other site about this thread? Here I will post it for you:

Maybe maybe not. Those guys seem to be insulted by lowend torque and I think its funny. I have zero issues what so ever making a 4L80E with the diesel converter that stalls at a whopping 1400 rpms with 3.73s and 32 11.50s burn both tires. Torque vs no torque. I just think its funny.

Ok. Either way he's clearly got a torque problem. Whether the engine can't physically make the power or its a tuning issue isn't known but either way it takes torque and a lot of it down low to make a 5500 pound land yacht move.

How does it run other wise? Is the engine in good mechanical condition? Whats it do is you give it a little hit of nitrous? Surely that would get things spinning.
