Thumbs up built tranny going in

well im getting a performabuilt lev2 should be here next week frank told me so i started pulling the old ******* out. the hardest part was getting the y-pipe pulled apart i had to break out the blue wrench aka the torch heres some pics and ill also be installing a yanks ss3600 torque converter plus yull get to see my high tech performance tranny jack plus im half in the bag so if the pics sucks well sorry

yup it sure is and let me tell you somthing it beats pulling the tranny on the floor

I've done trannies from the floor my whole life. Jackstands only go so high. Do u have a tall garage door to fit a lift in there? Cause it looks like your truck is all the way up? Most garages aren't that tall, & my truck would be in the ceiling/ attic at home.

Did my headers on lift @ where I used to work. Worked sweet. Other than droppin the $8 spark plug on the ground.

yep, looks all too familiar. Workin on my 3rd one now too. I too have the PB lvlII waiting to go in. Sent my Vig. back to get freshened up and restalled. good luck man, looks like you got it ready.

yeah my garage has 15ft cellings and both doors are 12ft so yeah the lift will def go up all the way

funny thing is the one i pulled still works fine but i figured since im putting in a converter i better just do a built tranny to cause im going to put a buuilt 6.0 in soon
