Question Broken Shock Mount Help

Well I'm looking for suggestions on what to do about fixing a broken shock mount on my truck. It is the driver's side rear shock where is mounts to the axle. The mount broke down the middle.

I'm wondering whether I should get the old mount welded back together, or get a new mount?

If I get a new mount am I better off getting one made or going to the dealership to see if I can get the just the mount, then have the old one cut off, and the new one welded on?

Any ideas?

When this happens at work, we use a new mount and weld new mount to frame.

I couldn't keep a bracket on there with the 4/6 drop and some power to the wheels.
Finally went with a 4 bar / air bag....problem gone and no axle wrap to boot.

Could I see some pics of the 4-bar or is a air-ride tech 4 bar? Kind of curious I have kp components 6 link, and I still have wheel hop.

This truck in question is a low hp truck. He simply needs a fix not a suspension overhaul.
Basically where did you get the bracket from? Dealer aftermarket? Any chance you have a part number?
Just trying to fix it not drop alot of coin ya know.
